Fitwell Construction awarded prestigious 6X200MW Punatsangchhu-1 HEP, Bhutan

Fitwell Construction has been awarded the work of Erection Testing and Commissioning of Pkg-B 6X200MW Francis Hydro Turbine Generating sets Punatsangchhu-1 Hydro Electric Project, Bhutan by M/s Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Power Sector Eastern Region (PSER), Kolkata. Our team of skilled employees have started work at the site in September 2014.

About Punatsangchhu-1 HEP:

Punatsangchhu-I HEP is a 1200 MW run-of-the river project located on the left bank of Punatsangchu river in Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag( District) in Western Bhutan. Its estimated capacity is 5700 million units of electricity in an average year. Construction of Punatsangchhu-I HEP was commenced in November 2008 at a project cost of Rs 3514.8 crore.
